Environment and Waveform Viewer Changes
December
12, 2007 - Santa Clara, CA - Knowlent Corporation, the
leading supplier of analog/mixed-signal test bench development
technology announced today the availability of a free version
of Viper, it's powerful post processing analysis
language including waveform viewer. Viper and the waveform
viewer are available without support as a free download by
registering with KNowlent on their website at www.knowlent.com.
Viper
test language was developed to quickly and easily build test
benches. The Viper language provides a very rich function set and
has essential capabilities for analysis and manipulation of analog
waveform data using its high-speed waveform database routines. Built
on open TCL language Viper can use any arbitrarily complex function
can be created in TCL or Perl or C. Built-in high value functions
include: clock recovery, jitter decomposition, interpolation and
complex stimulus generation (PWL) including Jitter (Multi tone PJ,
DJ, RJ) and arbitrary (Envelope, staircase) arithmetic on PWL or
simulation output.
"We are pleased to offer the
design community with free access to our powerful post processing
environment said Sandipan Bhanot, CEO of Knowlent. "Our goal is to
help design engineers get access to the vital information in
their simulation files without having to generate .measure
statements or scripting.
Viper and the waveform viewer are
available immediately from Knowlent's website. Support is available
for Viper and the waveform viewer for $2,000 per year.
Custom analysis development services are also available from the
company.
