Viper
Viper
is the next generation post processing analysis environment for
spice simulations. Viper is an open and extensible environment based
on standard languages. Using Viper you can quickly and easily
build complex measurements in a portable and repeatable fashion. The
Viper language has the essential capabilities for analysis and
manipulation of analog waveform data using its high-speed waveform
database routines.
- Viper tests can post-process outputs from HSPICE, Spectre or
Eldo (.tr0, .ac0, .psf files) -write tests once and use with any
simulator output
- Includes waveform viewer
- Provides a very rich function set
- Fully extensible to create any arbitrary function set
- Built-in high value functions for high speed analog IP such
as:
- Pre-built tests
- Clock recovery
- Jitter decomposition into DJ, RJ, PJ
- Pattern extraction and taking actions based on those
patterns
- Interpolation
- B-quad filtering
- Designed by analog engineers for analog engineers (we speak
the language)
- Unmatched speed and capacity
- 10x speed improvement and 5x capacity improvement over other
scripting languages
Knowlent Corporation is
making Viper available for free to
